Healing Through Writing Workshop with Elephants & Tea: Thursday, October 27, 6:30-8 p.m. ET. Writing and journaling can be helpful strategies for healing and communicating with others about difficult experiences. Join our friends from Elephants & Tea for this interactive session to practice some writing of your own and hear from other young adults who have found writing to be a beneficial coping tool. Caregiver's Connect: Tuesday, November 1, 5:30-7 p.m. ET- November is National Family Caregivers Month! Whether you are a parent, partner, sibling, or close friend of a young adult with cancer, join this session to meet others who understand and connect around the shared experience of caring for or supporting someone with cancer. Understanding and Managing Financial Toxicity with Family Reach: Wednesday, November 2, 5:30-6:30 ET. Family Reach will lead us in a workshop on how young adults with cancer can manage their finances and education on financial toxicity. Topics will include costs and expenses to consider, savings options, and financial resources to help manage money during and after treatment. Patients and Caregivers welcome. (via Zoom)

From COVID TO Cancer: The Process of Accepting Things You Cannot Change (hosted on iaya app): Wednesday, November 9, 6-6:45 p.m. ET. Join us on iaya LIVE with the Young Adult Program founder and first director, and clinical psychologist, Karen Fasciano, PsyD, who will lead a discussion on living well with what you cannot control. She will discuss grief due to change, the process of acceptance and adjustment, and concrete strategies to deal with uncertainty as a young adult living with cancer. Have your questions answered by an expert in this LIVE question and answer session; you may submit your questions to us in advance or ask them during the session. Patients welcome.
