Thank you for your interest in the premier statewide nursing preceptorship program in Maine. The program is provided free of cost for course participants, through funding provided by the Lunder Dineen Health Education Alliance of Maine.

This program is designed to advance and support the recruitment, integration, satisfaction and retention of nurses in Maine.

The primary intended learning audience is experienced direct care RN staff nurses, including school nurses, who work across health care settings in Maine and are interested in becoming preceptors. The learning audience has been extended to also include nurse managers and clinical nurse educators, who are interested in working in partnership with RN program attendees from their organizations, to guide and support the on-going development of new preceptors.

This is a blended learning program consisting of easy-to-use online modules and a one-day workshop. To participate in the program, attendees are required to first complete all online learning modules AND also attend the one-day workshop.
