Does your out-of-school time (OST) program want to build belonging and engagement in interactive science learning?
Join us to increase social-emotional skills for middle school students!

Tumblehome Books
and the Institute for the Study of Resilience in Youth (ISRY) at McLean Hospital and Harvard Medical School wants to support children's science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) learning and success.

Project BRAINY is open to all OST programs that regularly provide
learning opportunities to middle-school youth.

Up to 20 youth-serving OST programs from across the U.S. will receive $1,500, training, and continuous support to implement Project BRAINY, a neuroscience, literacy, and SED-focused curriculum.

Each OST program will:

(1) commit at least one staff member to be trained and to facilitate Project BRAINY

(2) implement the six-session curriculum in the Summer or Fall of 2024

(3) provide project-related feedback through check-in meetings, virtual observations, and self-report data (for staff and youth)

For more details, please see our information session slide deck.

For Summer implementation, we ask that programs complete
this application form by Friday, May 17, 2024.

For Fall implementation, we ask that programs complete
this application form by Friday, August 2, 2024.

We expect that this form will take less than 15 minutes to complete. Click here to preview the questions on the form before you get started with your online submission.
