MGB COVID Innovation Center: Looking for volunteers among our MGH research staff |
MGB Research Community,
The Diagnostic Accelerator is seeking MGH research staff and technicians who may be interested in volunteering to work in the Diagnostic Accelerator lab as part of MGB Center for COVID Innovation (https://covidinnovation.partners.org/). This is for temporary, volunteer work, for those that may have limited availabilities that meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of two 4-hour shifts available per week
- Minimum of 6 weeks available to volunteer
- Able to commute to MGH at Charlestown Navy Yard
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures for lateral flow assays and sample tracking (all training will be provided and these assays are designed for home use, so no prior experience required!)
- Completed CITI training for Human Subjects research preferred
The Diagnostic Accelerator’s mission is to facilitate the accelerated testing of novel COVID-19 diagnostic technologies to serve both our front line clinical staff as well as the community beyond. The Diagnostic Accelerator will be responsible for deploying these new technologies and assessing their performance based on pre-defined metrics.
