Study Title: Advanced Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Fellowship Outcomes

Dear Physician,

I am writing to invite you to participate in a research study because you have been indicated to have a specialized interest in IBD. The purpose of the study is to better understand outcomes following advanced training in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Approximately 300 people will take part in this study.

If you agree to participate, we would like you to complete a questionnaire, which will take you approximately 5 to 10 minutes to complete. The survey will cover topics including your current professional accomplishments and your comfort level with management of IBD. You are free to skip any questions that you prefer not to answer. If you choose not to participate in the study, you may discard this email. No electronic reply is needed.

The main risk of this study is loss of privacy/confidentiality. We will keep the information you provide confidential by utilizing a secure database for data entry and storage, which is accessible only by members of our research team. You will not benefit personally from this study. However, we hope that others may benefit in the future from what we learn because of this study.

You will not have any costs for being in this research study.

You will not be paid for being in this research study.

Any data that was collected as part of this study will remain as part of the study records and cannot be removed.
