Study to Develop New Scales for the BREAST-Q Reconstruction Module

Members of our research team have developed a questionnaire called the BREAST-Q. The BREAST-Q is used around the world to collect information about quality of life and breast satisfaction from women having surgery for breast cancer.

In this new study, we are developing new BREAST-Q scales. These new scales will make it possible for researchers to study recovery from surgery, nipple appearance, and the return of breast sensation.

You are being invited to participate because you are aged 18 years or older and have had a mastectomy and breast reconstruction.

It is very important that you complete the required questions as these are used by the computer program to ensure you are asked to complete only the scales that are relevant to you.
